SELLERS - Now is the Time to begin to get your house ready to place on the market before Spring!  

It is still cold and with the snow slowly melting away and the temperatures rising (for Now) then take advantage of preparing your property to place on the market in early spring. Here are a few tips that you will find useful:

 Tip#1: De-Clutter - Start Spring Cleaning early and throw out or prepare to have a yard sale with items that have not been used in 6 months to a year.  Get boxes to store items not needed at this time, but you want to keep to make the move with you to your New Home. Buy Baskets to store items in area(s) such as in bathrooms, closet(s), in cabinets, etc. Basket(s) also make it easier to keep clean.

Tip #2 Improvements - Make any necessary improvements that will be needed in order to make the house show better. If potential buyers walk into the home and see a repair here and there then they begin to look at more and start to wonder what else they missed and how much all of the list of items will cost to repair. Make sure Flooring is in Great Condition, Kitchen(s) and Bath(s) Are  sure to earn more money for a Good Return on your Property. Hardwood Floors are cleaner for people and/or kids with allergies and also adds value, stainless steel appliances are popular or appliances in good condition.     

Tip#3: Clean - Clean Window  Treatments, Fans, Vents and make sure to keep your air filter changed frequently!

 Tip#4 Curb Appeal - This is SO Important because this is the First Impression Potential Buyers will see of your property! If you have a potential buyer that wants to drive by your home first to see what they think of the property then Landscaping and Pride of Ownership Must Be Seen! Clean up any additional Items that may be around, plant flowers with color (Red catches the eye) and Freshly Mulch the Flower Beds, tree(s) or anywhere needed. Replace any rotten wood on the exterior, Freshly Paint Exterior if needed. Make sure the yard looks well manicured -  Edge and freshly cut if need be.
